Swell Rachel Works-Out

Pregnant Rachel Stevens isn’t going to let her burgeoning baby bump get in the way of a work-out. The former S Club 7 star, who is expecting her first child with hubby Alex Bourne at the end of the year, patted her tummy as she went for a power walk with a pal near her London home. Rachel, 32, is in the process of selling her luxury garden flat in the pricey Primrose Hill region. The property, worth £1.1million, includes a combined living, dining and kitchen area, two bedrooms and a small patio. The couple, who married in August last year, are in the process of buying a bigger family house.

Rachel Puts House Up For Sale

With her first baby on the way, pregnant pop star Rachel Stevens has put her two bedroom London flat up for sale for £1.1million. The former S Club 7 singer, 32, and her husband of one year, Alex Bourne are selling their ground floor garden flat, which is situated in the exclusive north London suburb of Primrose Hill. The Strictly Come Dancing 2008 runner-up, who is currently five months pregnant, are hoping to find a bigger family home with full-size garden. The chic, airy pad is just a short walk from Regent’s Park and has been impeccably designed to Steven’s feminine tastes. Aside from the two bedrooms, there is an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, with large glass doors which open to the private patio. Stevens’ living area features a white kitchen, white dining table, white sofas and white walls, with only a few bits of colour injected with the cushions and chairs.

Ms Stevens may want to re-think her all-white colour scheme in her new home once she has a child with grubby fingers running around. Given the ultra-feminine décor of her current flat, no doubt Bourne will be hoping for less floral interiors at their new home. Their bedroom is particularly feminine, with princess-style chiffon drapes hanging from the ceiling around the couple’s king sized bed and Stevens’ dressing table. The flat comes with two separate WCs and a bathroom, as well as a private entrance and video phone entry system. White is clearly a popular shade for the singer, who chose pale porcelain for her main bathroom, with the only colour being a ceiling of red roses. The smaller, second bedroom is currently being used as a dressing room for the star, giving her a relaxing place to get ready for her red carpet events. While most of the flat is decorated in pale colours, Stevens has opted for a bright orange wall in her small patio.

Giving the garden a Mediterranean feel, it is full of wicker chairs and lots of large green plants. Aside finding a bigger house for their new family, Stevens may want to rid herself of bad memories after she was mugged on the doorstep of the flat last year. Terrified Stevens was left ‘shaken’ in June last year after three men ambushed her on the doorstep of her home. She was forced to hand over her £800,000 engagement ring, a necklace and a Rolex watch. In a recent interview, the singer claimed she felt ‘sexier’ since becoming pregnant. She told OK! magazine: ‘My body’s going through lots of changes and I love having a bump.’ Stevens admitted she wasn’t too worried about the sex and would wait until the birth to find out if they were having a boy or a girl. She said: ‘Neither of us mind what we have but most people think that I’m having a girl, but I really don’t know.’

Just so everyone can keep up, This is Rachel’s current house which she moved into a renovated just before her marriage to Alex. Rachel Appoints New Managment

Insanity Talent Management has announced the signing of Rachel Stevens to its roster of stars including Martine McCutcheon, Jade Jagger, Peaches Geldof, Louise Roe, Jesse Metcalfe and Danielle Lloyd. Rachel, who is expecting her first child in November, is focusing on a variety of fashion, TV, branding and radio projects. Rachel’s manager is Kirsty Williams and she continues to be looked after by Liz Matthews PR for publicity.

Rachel plumps for some cushions on shopping trip

With the birth of her baby just four months away, it looks like Rachel Stevens is stocking up on her home comforts. The former S Club star indulged in a spot of retail therapy in the celebrity haven of Primrose Hill in north London, and picked out a couple of bright cushions. Rachel, 32, was bang up to fashion for her shopping trip, pouring her figure into a tie-dye maxi dress which revealed just a hint of her burgeoning bump. The former Strictly star, however, looked a little distracted as she perused the shops and could barely muster a smile. Although, when she was approached by a cute little dog as she left a newsagents, she did perk up a little. Rachel is now five months pregnant with her first child with husband Alex Bourne and is due to welcome her new arrival in November. In a recent interview with OK! she said that being pregnant makes her feel sexier, saying she is happily embracing her new curves. ‘Yes I do [feel sexier],’ she told the magazine. ‘My body’s going through lots of changes and I love having a bump.’ Husband Alex, who she married last year, is also a fan of her changing body shape, saying: ‘I love curves and I think she looks fantastic especially knowing that she’s carrying my baby.’ But unlike many celebs who have revealed the sex of their baby on Twitter, Rachel says she wants to keep it a surprise. ‘Neither of us mind what we have but most people think that I’m having a girl, but I really don’t know,’ she added.
